Invisalign Teen
The clear alternative to traditional braces.
It used to be that straightening teeth using Invisalign was 
truly only an option for adults. With Invisalign’s new product, Invisalign Teen, that is just no longer true. Invisalign Teen is the nearly invisible technique to straighten your teeth without braces, using a sequence of clear, removable aligners.
Why was traditional Invisalign only offered to adults?
1. Invisalign required that all of the permanent teeth were entirely erupted in the mouth. Invisalign Teen now adjusts for the continuing and natural eruption of the permanent teeth.
2. Orthodontists were doubtful that teenagers would wear their Invisalign trays as needed (22-23 hours/day). 
In response to this concern, Invisalign Teen includes all new compliance indicators. Compliance indicators are unique blue dots placed on the Invisalign aligners in the back part of the mouth. These dots lighten from blue to clear as the aligners are worn giving the patient, parents and Dr. YOUR NAME a gauge of approximate wear time. And so far, what have we found? Most teenagers do a good job of wearing their aligners as directed and those that don’t, end up with traditional braces very quickly.
